Hi all

Thought I'd share an ebay purchase which has just arrived in the mail. This is (what I believe to be) a Dennison cased Omega cal. 267.

Now the cal. 267 is currently unconfirmed as the listing did not share a picture of the movement, nor do I have a caseback opener to confirm myself - so who knows whats under there... Anyhoo, the listing mentioned the watch was 9ct gold which looks to be supported by the characteristic UK hallmark on the lugs.

I wish my photos would do it justice, but the watch looks sensational in hand. I believe it to be unpolished due to the relative sharpness and visible lug facets/ curvature. There is a bit of crud here and there which I am hoping can be resolved with a bit of TLC. The dial, age considered, bares minimal patina and only light speckling.

The caseback bares an engraving for a fella by the name of H. Akroyd - I am not sure how I yet feel about wearing a watch that is personalised... Keen to get the Forum's thoughts on this. My next assignment is to see if I can find any information on the net about this individual...

Now the bonus... I believe the watch comes with the original 9ct gold buckle. I've dug through some threads and manage to find this one which supports (the power of OF!): https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-9ct-buckle.67521/. The listing made no mention of the buckle and only featured a photo from afar. The cynic in me assumed either it would be aftermarket/ gold plated. Safe to save, I am stoked.

Overall, am white chuffed with this one. I've ordered a caseback opener from Amazon so will report back once opened!
