Hello
I know that the vintage Zenith with cal 135 is pretty expensive.
At lest those one that has the chronometer label in the dial , and has the big case , 37mm ex crown I think.

But what about the Zenith 2000 serie , with 35mm case. That also run the cal 135 chronometer movement.
What is a fair market value for exempel this one, I guess I pretty big difference ?

Best regards / M

The 2000 typically trade for significantly lower prices. More importantly, I believe the dial on the one you show to be a fake, with a crude "2000" added to a dial that was not a chronometer.

That dial is totally bogus. Looks like something off a cal 40

proceed with your collecting, just be careful!
I will post the rest of those three zenith 2000 watches and maybe somebody will notice any thing more that doesn’t look correct

the first 2 the 2 in 2000 looks to thick and is not in line. The last one looks right but I’d stay away. Here’s one that’s been around the block a few times but no takers.

Ok I think I’ll pass , but I really like the last one. With the sunburst dial. What is a fair market value on the last
one with sunburst ?

pics of the inside etc? Why do you want to buy it? That’s the question you have to ask yourself.

Obviously you should choose the dial style that you prefer, but this is a classic and correct example. Note the applied star:

Thanks for all your help !
I guess I will walk away from these watches

like I said, you should always ask yourself why you want any particular watch. Unless the last one is dirt cheap, save for something better. A 40T Chronometer is a great alternative to that 2000.
