Hi OF, For sale is my rare Zenith Chronometre circa 1954. Dial: 100% original dial with applied logo and markers, all original hands. Case: Stainless steel case with some wear, beautiful chamfers on the lugs. Case is unpolished. Movement: The legendary calibre 135 with the oversized balance, that was designed to compete in the Neuchâtel Observatory competitions for precision time keepers. The movement has been fully serviced by watchmaker last month. The watch measures 35mm excluding crown, wears so much better on the wrist due to the bezel and the minimalism of the dial. For me, it is without a doubt the best dial combination for Zenith cal 135 with the beautiful arrow markers that looks stunning under different lighting, and the 12, 3, 9 only on the applied Arabic numerals. Triple signed Zenith on the dial, inside caseback and movement. I'm sure there is no introduction needed for this watch, but I thought I'd share this article below about the calibre 135, https://monochrome-watches.com/case-study-chronometer-zenith-calibre-135/ The watch is sold as is head only, no box or papers. Priced at USD6,500 + shipping. Paypal or bank wire only. Thanks heaps Andre
The only thing that surprises me is that a caliber 135 in this condition actually was listed and not sold behind the scenes.
Exactly. How am I supposed to get ALL the 135s when they're sneaked out during business hours? I cry foul.
