Been lurking for a long time, finally signed up. I'm a 30mm guy, not like that! I been up and down the watch road before. From the first time I saw a nice one, like 40 years ago. But theft and other circumstances kept me away from this way of life(addiction).
So let's see what I can bring to the OF, I from the analog era. Got some books coming, I really love the books about subjects like this.

Welcome to the forum. What books have you ordered? I'm always looking to add* to my watch book collection.

Welcome peep

What was that nice watch you saw 40 years ago?
For me it was awesome, 12 years old a Rado something, aww struck. I don't like then as much now, but maybe one would be nice.

PSA: Never let @vintage hab borrow any of your books.
See that's the kind of advice a newbie needs. Also how is the grammar police around here, asking for a fiend.

Welcome @30t1 What sort of 30mm watches are you into? Pics?
Right now I have a couple of 30T2, this one here I got a week ago with the ugly nato strap but San Diego is a military town. Deciding on what strap to put on it.

Rado make some pretty decent watches - the Golden Horse and Captain Cook in particular. They also produce sensibly styled dress watches too

I’m always looking to ass my watch book collection, but I’d probably be arrested 😉😉
haha, well got coming the omega collector guide, I'm too poor for the omega maniac. Also the nerdy official catalogue of swiss watch repairs 1&2

Need to read different stuff, a for another viewpoint also just to read. To be honest some of out of print “cult” books are insanely priced. I always have a $$$ line that I won’t cross.
