New (Old) James Bond Watch?

I have to admit that I am over exited about finally getting back my 5513 from service. So I decided to watch 007 - Live and Let Die to prepare myself for the big moment.

While I expected to see nothing but the 5513 and its famous magnet/saw complication, I noticed three scenes in which James is wearing something that definitely is not a Submariner.

A quick research led to no results.
Let's discuss

5513 for reference:

Obviously, Jane Seymour only fell for the Rolex.
I can only assume he wears the Tissot when assuming his alias of James St.John Smyth....yeah, I grew up on the Moore era bonds. Saw Moonraker in the theater...my first on the big screen.

Guys this is excellent work all round!

I can see now there have been a few articles written about this in the recent past so this seems to be a relatively new spotting. 2 questions then-
1 how do we know it was Roger's own watch?
2 how can the precise model/execution be ascertained-date worn/bracelet design/further screen shots etc?

Having had a quick look it does seem he wore the Tissot very interchangeably with the Rolex on set-both off-camera and during filming, so it underlines it (speculatively still) being his own watch which he preferred to wear when not 'allowed' to wear the Rolex.

This is probably the main thread I found so far...

The photos you've found are some goodies. There are plenty more too which I found today so I'm sure we can crack it.. (I may not be able to post the other pics for copyright reasons but happy to share on DM.) A couple in particular show (apparently) the same Tissot at the press event that RM will be the new bond. (so pre-filming obviously) and there is also one from 1975 showing him wearing it too.....

But you have to say St. John through closed teeth as 'Sinjin'
