Hi - I am new to the forums, living in the UK.
I have a mixture of watches both old and modern - from pocket watches through to now...

The only Omega I own was an auction purchase needing a new second hand and a new crystal.
I am increasingly drawn towards vintage watches so am looking to learn more about those in particular...

Not sure that I can contribute much in comparison to some very knowledgeable folks on here, but look forward to being a part of the community.

Welcome mate, the Genève dynamic there does look like it’s had quite a few parts replaced like the dial and hands so good for a daily wear piece but for future purchases you might want to hold out for all original pieces as the vintage tritium dials and hands add a lot to the character

thank you!
Yes, I was aware that it is not 100% - but it was cheap enough and I felt sorry for it 😀 (probably not a good approach!)
I definitely have a good one on my list now - don't think I see any issues in having two (at least!)

Welcome and enjoy. Some of the best watches are the ones which aren't perfect but tell a story. From the looks of it, it has a story to tell!
