Well, I have not worn a watch since 2006, when I was involved in a highside on the motorcycle race track. At the time my left wrist was destroyed and after six surgeries to repair it and years of swelling, the constant need to check my wrist for the time faded away. Last week I decided to get back into the saddle so to say, and obtained this beautiful Seamaster in a trade. I did really well on the entry point and of course, I am looking at expanding the collection!
Hello and welcome! Tonight on top gear... Just kidding, enjoy the watch and welcome to the family. If you intend to stay we give extra points for people who add an avatar Sorry to hear about the nasty highside, I was lucky enough to only suffer from one lowside during my track years. The dirt was where I broke my right hand, lesson learned - always check what's on the other side of the jump before jumping!
Congrats on the new watch -- you're starting with a real beauty. I wish you many, many years of healthy and happy wearing!
Congrats and welcome back to watch world! Out of curiosity, what did you ride? I'm a Ducati rider myself...!
Nice limited edition piece with sword hands and a white gold bezel I believe. Speedy would be the obvious Omega next piece.
