·Hello, I'm new to the forums and definitely not an expert like you guys (although I am a v proud owner of an Omega Seamaster Automatic c. 1956, see profile pic). I'm looking for some identification help on a couple of Omegas belonging to a friend.
Unfortunately we have very little background on them. They were in the possession of her recently-deceased mother for some decades and not particularly well cared for. As to where and who they came from, sadly that information is now lost.
I photographed them before joining the forum, so I didn't see the request for a measurement or a shot of the crown. But this is what I have for the first watch. I’ll post images of the second, a Seamaster 600, in a separate thread to avoid confusion.
Any help on the precise model/reference, rarity, comments on the condition, value etc would be gratefully received. Many thanks in advance!
