Been a watch guy since I tore my first gumby watch apart to see how it worked. Been hooked ever since. Look forward to learning everything I can about this amazing watch company.

That's what I love about Omega my 69 speedmaster has only been serviced once in its life, 26 years ago!
+2 sec per day and 40 ours reserve, so useless to service (even an omega dealer told me so...)
And so much diversity in shape colours, ...on the other hand I won't be against having a 5513.
But in France it's a social No-No to have a rolex, since a politician told on TV, that If you don't have a rolex before 50, you failed your life!
So better off with JLC, unknown to 99%.
The fact that it only runs 40 hours should tell you something.

Come back all you want - still very bad advice from your dealer. 26 years on and I can pretty much guarantee the oils are completely dry in the watch mate....
You can believe what you want, but letting it run dry is not good for the watch.

you convinced me, once I've got some cash (France taxes are tough these days, I paid the price of one 321 this year!)
I've got the correct stepped dial, needs some correct hands and it will go to Swiss!
