New member and a question

Hello Everyone.

A couple of months back picked up my first Omega, a Snoopy on the grey market. Have been enjoying the watch immensely and I turned my attention to the 60th anniversary bond watch. Manged to pick up both the Bond watch and a white speedy on metal bracelet this week during a recent trip to HK from the boutique in the Landmark area.

As much as I love the Bond watch the bracelet did not seem to sit right leaving slight "gaps" between wrist and bracelet so i picked up the blue omega leather strap with pin buckle and had it fitted and also bought the same strap in black leather for the white Speedy however there was no stock of the pin buckle so will have to source elsewhere. Both lovely watches and very happy with my purchases.

My question is can I fit the metal bracelet from the speedy to the Snoopy once I put the leather strap on the speedy ? I think from the pictures I have seen the watch looks great with a metal bracelet...

Your Speedy bracelet should fit the Snoopy fine. A lot of people change straps and bracelets all the time. It's not difficult to do it yourself but you should try to protect the watch from getting scratched.

I’ve nothing to add on the straps and bracelets question, but the white Speedmaster and the Bond 60th are both stunning watches.

Yes, the 3861 bracelet will fit the Snoopy. Looks great too. Enjoy the new watches and welcome!

Thanks for the replies much appreciated, will now work on sourcing the pin buckle for the black leather band and switch the snoopy to the metal bracelet....

Personally have the same issue but with my white speedy. The bracelet is comfortable but the perfect size would be 1/2 of a link size off. 1 link off is way too tight, and if I put the link back on, it becomes a hand watch.

Tried my buddies Aqua Terra on and it fits perfectly.
