·I think this could have been one of the best ever longines modern releases. They ruined it with the date but i think i will buy it anyways.. its just so good..what are the forum fellows thoughts on this?

·Imo I think it will age well, most Art Deco stuff does. Some lovely details to it from the stepped nature of the crown to the rectangular sector style dial. The date sort of throws off the symmetry a bit but it's been punched out with those mitred/ bevels fairly nicely and the date disk has been colour matched. Very nice piece.

Modern era, ETA based Longines watches are often overlooked in favour of the in-house movements of the vintage era, which is a pity as they use reliable movements. Classic designs as well.
