Bringing back the black sub dials and adding the black accents to the hands, are a plus. I would have preferred to see more of a brushed finish on the lugs and the PCL's discontinued.

no, I don't think so. No steel Daytona's ever really lower in price.

I owned a white dial steel bezel daytona and I think this will be a better option for me. might be a 50th birthday present to myself next year

I really prefer the slimmer designs of yesteryear. I'm keen to wait for the wane of the trend towards fat lugs and big crown guards (or any for that matter).

The example in the second picture from @DirtyDozen12 is a beauty.

One "Rolex" in the usual place will do.

When it first came out it was dubbed the RRR on one forum - the Rolex Repeater Ring...just another reason why I won't ever own a modern Rolex...

It looks great in the white dial, but I think the black dial looks better with the current metal bezel.

Just been into my local Rolex AD and they have been allocated 5 Daytona's in the next 12 months. Was going to put my name down for one but as they already have 13 names down before me I didn't bother as I aren't waiting 3 years for a watch. They then tried to tempt me to buy a Rose Gold Skydweller with quite a good discount.
