I thought about that AquaTerra for quite a while before purchasing my new Seamaster GMT Chronograph. In the end I decided I just would not wear the Bond since it is so collectable.
A question to the OP....did you get the "extras" with the timepiece?

I know what you mean about not wearing it. I still have Bond 40th Anniversary new in box that I still haven't worn, and purchase from an AD. Instead I'm gonna pick up a 300 MC to wear in my rotation.

·Yes I got the whole box papers extra nylon strap (blue with yellow stiching). Brand new from the boutique.

·Yes, congratulations. I had my doubts about this when I first saw the photos of it, but I too tried it on and there's no doubt it's one of those watches that is much better in the flesh. I liked it a lot.

·Excellent. Besides the timepiece, the packaging with the extras is outstanding. My home town had a movie house on Main. I remember walking there as a 10 year old and watching Goldfinger during the Saturday afternoon matinee back in 1964. That movie turned me into a lifelong horologist, even if Bond was wearing a "R" model and all I had on was my Timex with a Spidel twist-o-flex bracelet.
