This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Omega x James Bond 007 collaboration.

On November 13, 1995, the world premiere of GoldenEye took place, where Pierce Brosnan debuted for the first time with the Omega Seamaster 300 Quartz.
What do you think Omega will prepare for this anniversary?

The Burgundy dial looks sooo much better. Hope they go with that. Does anyone here have any thoughts on whether they will release a new version of the Seamaster bracelet this year (a tapered version perhaps) or is that unlikely to happen because they'll be celebrating the current bracelet due to GoldenEye anniversary? I'd also love for them to release a GMT Seamaster 300 (a Great White update) for the anniversary and think it could be huge for them. Thanks- from an Omega newb.

Currently a steel milaness bracelet in this shape is being strongly promoted and probably the anniversary watch will most likely receive one.

However, it is worth recalling that Omega has not emphasized 10 - 20 anniversary of cooperation with James Bond, except events.

The 20th anniversary in 2015 coincided with the release of Spectre, so it all naturally came together.

Or maybe if there is an anniversary watch, it will be designed based on British Green? As you can see, more people are trying to figure it out

I rather wish he had worn one of these in the movies, we never ( as far as I am aware) Got that line of advertising Stateside.

Seems like the sword hand version got a lot of attention in some places, though! I definitely like them.

Brosnan Bond was a one watch per movie kind of guy and I don't think Craig ever wore a sword hand model. Honestly a shame.

Now that Barbara and Michael stepped down from the franchise and gave control back to MGM-Amazon, will they continue to work with Omega is the question, I hope they release something before hand, I'm a sucker for 007 collectibles.

I'm more concerned with Amazon doing woke nonsense with the character and story line. Amazon has done some crazy stuff in the past. They must have given Barbara Broccoli and her half-brother a boat load of money to give up creative control of the franchise. She is only 65.

Some are not a fan of their current work, including the LOTR series, which is exactly why I feel that the Omega collaboration is on the chopping block. Who knows at this rate but I do hope we get a 30th anniversary collab soon. I would love for Pierce Brosnan to endorse it lol, fat chance but it would be cool.

Amazon has not gone woke with Reacher or The Terminal List. There is hope.

As for Barbara Broccoli--she killed James Bond. Good riddance.

They say that Amazon is obsessed with bringing in a name to play James Bond. That person needs to be Henry Cavill.

That's a fair point about reacher, which I think is actually pretty well done. I'm not a fan of The Lord of the Rings spin off though.

I am a bit concerned that Amazon will screw up bond, but can they really do worse than the worst of Moore's stuff?

At least Netflix's The Witcher team didn't get it....

Amazon did a pretty good job with Fallout season 1, so there is a slight chance for a good Bond movie.
