My bad... I don't believe I have never done my formal introduction. So, here goes!

My name is Lester living in Brussels owner of a nice Guesthouse.

Have the most beautiful dog, Neo, getting a bit older by the day but always in excellent mood. A few old Omega as well, Junghans ande Yema.

All in all new to this hobby, lurker for a long time here, digging in many thread to learn, and surely nowhere near confident to provide valuable expertise on the Omega brand. But you can count me in for silly comments and good mood.

Cheers,
Lester
Ps: hablo español, je parle français, ik spreek toch een beetje Vlaams, e un po italiano

Thanks for the welcome, and I have already discovered the Boxer dog thread you are referring to 😀 ... and I'll also try to show some watches too from time to time !

LOVE your avatar! Had a dog that freaked out over concrete yard animals (not my yard.) Poor dogs must be wondering why in the world would we make something like that?!!

Welcome aboard amigo.

Welcome! I had a very nice vacation to Brussels and Brugges a few years ago and it remains VERY high on my list of places to revisit as soon as possible, if not to retire to. Good food, great chocolate, excellent beers and very friendly people who don't mind me practicing (and largely failing) my 2 years of high-school French language.

Thank you
I can only recommend you to dare set a foot or two outside the airport doors to discover our great country 😀
Great people, great beers, great architecture, great music/festivals in summer and of course, the real and best fries in the world !

Aside Brussels where I live that is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Europe, Ghent has beautiful architecture like being back in mediaeval time, and Antwerp has its trendiness and sophistication. Most of those cities are in North of Belgium (in Flanders) but the South is also beautiful with great abbeys to visit with great beers (Chimay, Orval, Maredsous...) as well as nice walking paths

Thank you, and the next step would be to combine that with our fries or abbey cheeses 😀

The picture in my avatar is already 8 years old from when Neo was only 6 months old (time flies!)
We used to pet statues and he always got jealous and wanted to play with them 😀

Seems like boxer one day... Boxer all days... Haha
Neo is my first, he is like my shadow, will prolly have another after but it will be difficult when he will have to leave to a better place, for sure 😀

Thank you! And as said in here, surely good beers, excellent chocolate and best fries are good incentives to retire here... But also premium location with a great quality of life. Paris 1h20 by train (3h by car), same for Amsterdam (a bit more by train), London (2h by the tunnel), Cologne or Dusseldorf (2h) etc etc...
