The green AT41 is really, really attractive and value for money, it really is. But I decided to go for the Air-King in the end since it was also available at my AD.

AT41, maybe next time...

But it's kelly green. The worst green of them all!
Turns out they just released a proper "army green" NATO. A buddy of mine was at the Vancouver boutique yesterday and saw it. Looks pretty good!

The green looks very impressive. Wife likes it too, which is a bonus. Only issue for me would be when I got bored of it on bracelet, it’s going to be a headache to get a strap to go with it - assuming you want the option of a non OEM strap.

Would black leather go with a green dial?

It would look pretty good an a high quality light or medium brown leather NATO strap, like a whisky or bourbon colour

I like the olive dial, but I think it would be even better with YG hands and markers. This is a 34 mm that we're looking at for my wife, but the contrasting hands and markers add a lot of depth.

Agree about the hands adding depth, and legibility too, I’d expect. I picked up a GS recently with those elaborately faceted and polished hands and have been surprised at how readable it is in various lights, even without lume.

I had a chance to handle this green AT last week at the OB on 5th Ave and it is a more subdued green than I’d expected but a very nice one. I don’t have pix but I really liked it and it’s on my list for sure. Deeper and more matte than I’d thought, more contemplative.

I haven't seen one in person yet but it looks just okay. Unlike the blue dial, nothing really stands out on this watch. Not good but not bad.

If it's this, it's been out for awhile, and I'd argue this is still not "military" green.

I think the photo does not do it justice, the actual piece it's a lot nicer than photo.

You can go to the Omega website and click on "See it on a NATO strap" and see how it will look with various colors. It looks nice on the dark brown leather.

I really like the idea but the shade of green is a bit too mossy/military - a more British racing green would have been better IMO.

Yeah, in the metal it's definitely darker than a classic racing green but still brighter and more blue-toned than a military or moss green. Can look brighter or more sober depending on the light but it's a very nice burnished green that works well with the teak dial, and I preferred it to both the AT blues I saw. Will be my next purchase, I think.

I looked at the watch last week and was disappointed, it's not something that I would wear.

Just saw one of these in person the other day... have to say the photo from The Omega Minute (above) represents the green very differently than what it looks like in person, to me anyway (no, not color blind if that's a question). It looked to be more of a green/grey than a mossy green - quite nice. I suppose the store lights could also have had something to do with it. Question now is, will they also release it in a midsize? I recall the Skyfall AT going the other way, with the midsize being released first and the 41mm being released a bit later.

have to agree with the previous post, saw the watch in store and the colour looked rather dull. maybe it'll look better under sunlight,

I agree. This watch in an Oris green would be absolutely fabulous

I find with green dial watches, they have to overdo the green other it looks dull,gray/black in anything but bright light.
