Is it more of a green green or a greyish green in the metal? Hard to tell from the pix I've seen.

(gratuitous Alpinist pic)

I bet that it depends on the lighting, and the angle...and that’s a good thing because it makes it a more interesting dial. Also, gratuitous it may be, but it is still welcome!

EDIT: if you are still trying to decide on your avatar, how about the above. As you can see, I couldn’t decide on my avatar!

It really seems like it's more of an 'olive', which differs from the Alpinist which has more yellow and gold undertones.

Wow love the green dials! In a sea of blue dials, this certainly is a welcome change of pace.

I adore this model, however would not buy it, since I mostly wear blue and brown/beige colored clothes, which i a no go for this greenish hue.

well, brown/ beige does go quite well with green....

I'd the to see it in the flesh, I like it in pictures but it's always tough o capture these dials.

Yes, but not blue. And I wear blue all the time.

One of the few perks of being colourblind...

Still contemplating... should I or should I not?
That looks nicer than when I tried one on back in November. It’s quite a khaki green compared to the greens from Rolex, Oris etc.

if they did a rubber strap for it that would be awesome but I think the choices are only bracelet or leather aren’t they?

You can always get a rubber strap for it from another vendor.

Already have an AT Skyfall, but I still really want this. Have yet to see one in person though...

Yes, but the AT rubber is great. Pity.

Hopefully this prompts Omega to finally make a good, army green coloured NATO.

The current one is great IMHO

Is it? Do you have any actual pics of it by chance? I feel the website doesn't really do it justice perhaps. That would be amazing if it was actually the hue of green I was looking fr as the Omega NATO's are fantastic!

But it's kelly green. The worst green of them all!
Haha - that's what I was worried about! I'm wanting an army green one.

Blue and green are actually considered highly compatible colors from the same family. They are often paired up in fashion and marketing.

That said it is about how you feel about it and if it doesn't work it doesn't work

I like the olive dial, but I think it would be even better with YG hands and markers. This is a 34 mm that we're looking at for my wife, but the contrasting hands and markers add a lot of depth.
