omega marketing is missing out on the flex culture. No young person is getting laid buying this, it’s a $6k watch on IG.

$81k…that’s TWO complicated Patek.

unless, this is made to drive entry level pieces. This makes no sense to me.

I'm not a young person but still can do the math.
Omega Speedmaster 321 Canopus Gold $81,000 vs 2022 Corvette $62,195 + 18,805 cash.
You all know what will be sitting in my driveway.
Don't get me wrong, this is a gorgeous watch and would love to own. Just can't wrap my head around the price tag. As others have said, I think this piece was made specifically to bring more prestige to the brand. Most of us won't be running out to buy this watch. But it reassures our next affordable Omega purchase that the brand has a $81k Speedmaster in the stable.

Overnight the Ed White 321 just doubled in price on Chrono24.

I bought a white gold Rolex daytona a few weeks ago. You could have 2.5 of these for the price? I love speedmasters but not that much.

Well, I imagine that, given the technology poured in the production of this watch, the chronometric performances of the caliber will result nothing short of exceptional, wiping away all the shortcomings of the many 321s that I have overhauled during my watchmaking activity...

Purposefully made to accommodate a select few who want that special piece were the amount will not make a dent to their wallet and to not disrupt the 321 movement production.

Price aside, it's the most beautiful Speedmaster I've ever seen. Better than the last Snoopy (that I liked mostly because of the blue color).
