Yes, the dial is definitely meteorite because the file posted by Omega had the meteorite part in the filename...

could it be two watches that are coming? one with a blue and the other one with a black moon phase background? also the moon representations look distinctly different, not just like different cuts from the same stone

It is rather interesting that it’s moon phase at six, the Cal 9900 family moon phase dials all have it at 9 o clock, while the previous Cal 866 / 1866 Moonwatch moon phase models had it at 12, which made for a rather unusual dial.

I wonder if this could be a Cal 3861 variant that eschews the hours register at six in favour of a moonphase, because it would make a bit more sense than moving it on a Cal 9900
I am afraid we are looking at some 9904 caliber powered reference, like the 304.30.44.52.01.001 which sports a moonphase at 6 o'clock. If that would be the case, my guess would indeed be that it's coming in the 44.25mm case like the Dark Side of the Moon.

Still, I'll keep hoping for a moonwatch-sized version. 😁

Two variants:

Grey dial with blue hands and bezel Ref 304.30.43.52.06.001 Calibre 9914

Black dial with silver hands and black bezel Ref
304.30.43.52.01.001 Calibre 9914

Both manual wind, 43mm diameter so very close to a standard Moonwatch and 13.6mm thick which is pretty impressive really.

indeed I expected them to be thicker! They both look great, but I think I prefer the black one just a tad bit more.
But still at that price point it is just too much.

I see column wheel but are these vertical clutch too? TBH I was expecting bigger and thicker case! Surprise surprise! But in a good way!

With that case shape and pusher spacing, that resembles a super sized Speedmaster Reduced. As such I'm not a big fan, though as noted the reduction in thickness is to be welcomed.

Yea though I’m not a buyer of this one specifically I really like the fact that there clearly worked on bringing the thickness down a lot and the diameter.

The 39.5mm Planet Ocean was a really big step in the right direction in terms of packaging and dimensions and this is more of that, indicating that they’re taking this seriously moving forward.

I think I like the grey as a backdoor snoopy.

But for the price...well they were never going to be close to affordable

At this price point, I won’t be getting either one. But I do prefer the black. The blue one reminds me of a Zelos I used to own….

A nice release, but not enough to part with 17,100 plus taxes

I like the black meteorite a lot, however, for $17K I'd prefer the Soyuz Apollo with meteorite dial.

I’m not a fan of date sub dials, but this is a very nice watch. Unfortunately $17.1KUSD is a little pricey for steel. It gets you within a few grand of a nice, like new, moonshine Speedy on strap.
