·My wife absolutely LOVES her Heuer - she has a long association with the brand (pre-TAG), beautiful blue mother of pearl dial, high quality diamond bezel, and she doesn’t have to wind it. Dress it up, dress it down; out to dinner or out on the boat. She wears it every day, everywhere.

·Well, here's the update I'm sure you've all been anxiously awaiting.
Sorry to disappoint, but my wife, ever frugal and practical, settled on some wacky swatches, and also borrowing my vintage Hamilton quartz diver.
I kinda dig her Swatch Flash Arrow.
But I'm still scheming on her behalf. I'm thinking of picking up a vintage Bulova diver to see how she likes a mechanical watch.

Thanks! I think it's a cool find. hopefully it will hold her over until I win the lottery and snag her a Bulgari Serpenti, or something equally odd.

That's cool. Glad your partner shares your hobby. I didn't even try showing her anything with diamonds. She insisted on a black, industrial diamond for her engagement band. 😁
