18/16mm alligator or crocodile in cognac or brown with a gold deployant clasp. Can anyone recommend a manufacturer/seller? I’m in the US. Thanks!

Can't help with the gold deployant clasp, but Delugs has some nice reptile leathers in right now

Make with the photos already. Some of us strap connoisseurs are primarily visual/tactile learners.

A soft, rustic-looking brown alligator will look like one million US dollars on that watch. I got this one for $20 from Japan Yahoo! Auctions from a seller in Thailand. I know that's not much help, but I hope you can find something like it. People also swear by tan pigskin for gold/goldcap watches.

That really does look great!

Get a semi matte croc. Small grain pattern. Better visual effect.

Dress - stick with black

Like Don said... (although in brown here on the dogleg, black for the rail dial). Both work.

Brown Croc with gold is a winner, and black on steel (thanks @MtV for pic) , classic go to combinations really, but I'm going to try the blue strap with the steel when it arrives from Pebro. Hirsch also do good straps
