For sale is a beautiful vintage Omega Constellation reference 167.005. This is a popular reference and has both the dog leg lugs and pie pan dial. This watch was acquired from the original owner who rarely wore it. The movement is marked OXG and the Omega bracelet was made in the USA, compatible with delivery and purchase in the United States. Pardon the dust in some of my photos below! Case: Overall, the case is in excellent condition and is unpolished. The inside of the dog leg lugs are sharp with retained bezel contours and chamfers. Gold capped. There are tiny superficial scratches, commensurate with age. These are best seen on the lugs in the photos. Case measures 34 mm without crown. Crown: Signed original crown. This version of the crown is difficult to find and was is often replaced. There is a small gap between plating on the crown, best seen in photo 5. Caseback: Very good condition screw down caseback with super sharp Medallion. As you can see, there are a few marks from a previous watchmaker’s opening attempt. Inside is marked 167.005 CB. Movement: Cal 511 movement, which appears clean. Marked OXG, signifying export into the United States. This watch was not serviced in my possession but has been running. Automatic winding, manual winding, and time settling are crisp. If you intend on wearing it daily, a service is always recommended. Dial: Original unrestored pie pan dial in stunning condition. Gold hour markers with original Tritium lume dots, which all glow evenly. Hands: Original hands with intact lume, perfectly matching the dial markers. Crystal: Unsigned crystal, which I believe is original to the watch given overall originality. Bracelet: Comes on the original mesh gold filled bracelet with micro adjustment clasp. The bracelet is also in excellent condition with minimal superficial scuffs on the clasp. Made in the USA. For this watch and bracelet, I am asking $1750 which will include shipping in the USA.
