Need some help deciding.

I came across a Speedmaster 1151 triple date and fell in love with it. It comes on a brown alligator strap and it feels awesome on my wrist. The weight is just perfect. The thing is I don´t know if it´s priced ok and how desireable this pieces are in the pre-owned market. I just bough a Montblanc Starwalker last week because I thought I got a super cheap deal and now I realized nobody wants them. I can´t even get back what I payed for it an man I got it at les than 30% retail price or 70% off retail price how ever you choose to look at it.

The guy is asking for $1600 for the speedmaster and it is in superb condition, no box.

WIS sales forums and sites like watchrecon will give you a decent idea of what current going rates are averaging to pick one up. However, if your eye is on selling before evening buying, best to take a hard pass until you find a watch where your mind stops at the wearing and enjoying of it.
