Yeah, “rough but original” seems to be a good overview based on this pics.
It will never be a show stopper but a clean, crystal polish and possibly a good relume would likely improve the overall look.
Thanks for the feedback. Is there a watchmaker you would recommend for a relume? Zenon

You already bought it. How does anything we might think make a difference at this point?
As it says at the bottom of my message I wanted any feedback I could get regarding its originality and a place to service it.

And there ids a guy in Poland. Have seen a few of his dials, look very good as well. Somebody here might have his name.

Yes, I’d certainly go James at Alchemist Relumer. He’s in the UK so if you’re in another country there will be logistics to sort around shipping insurance/import duties etc
