I am very thankful for you guys and your help with this. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect. I didn't know if some Omega purists would try to run me out of town 馃榾. I am really grateful for the warm welcome and solid advice!

Looking forward to seeing them.

To clarify, are you doing both types in 19mm and 20mm or just the 1035 style in 19mm and the Holzer style in 20mm?

I was going to do both in both sizes. When I made the BOR I immediately got 5-6 emails asking if I had it for the FOIS also. I think that whatever I make I should have it for both.

I hope he does a 1039/516 version that will fit modern 311 Speedy.

Good stuff.

It may be worth asking someone with both a FOIS and a 2998 and 105.003 to confirm the height of the lugs and distance from lug tip to spring at holes etc. The modern lure and straigh lug cases do differ slight from the vintage versions. Case in point, the 808 end links for the 1450 need modifications to fit a vintage Speedmaster case.

Will you have different versions of the bracelet for each watch, or the same bracelet with different endlinks? The 1039 would be the appropriate model for a 145.022 Speedmaster. The last link in the 1035 would be two narrow to transition to 20mm lugs. The table provided by @uwsearch in the thread I linked earlier shows the measurements.

This is awesome. I could totally be down for the 1035 ... but I'd like to see the clasp unbranded/unsigned, without the Uncle Seiko logo. Though obviously I understand why you'd put your logo on it. Perhaps there's a way to design it so that it can alternatively accommodate a genuine Omega clasp? Either way, really looking to forward to seeing your progress and the end results!

Here is how I would mod a FOIS if I had one...

That is a vintage bracelet (on a FOIS). No idea about the endlinks authenticity...however they are not solid (genuine or AM)...so can be made to fit. If whatever Uncleseiko does is similar quality to his bracelets I have handled with solid endlinks, David鈥檚 suggestion is a wise one...and they will be killer bracelets.

Dear Santa, I would like an Uncle Seiko BOR bracelet with 20mm ends (flat leading edge) for my Heuer Autavia 1163.

I know I have been on the naughty list but, it really wasn't my fault.

Excited! I own multiple Uncle Seiko products for my Seikos, and they are all very high quality. And it just so happens that I have three Speedmasters, an FOIS and two modern pro cases, in desperate need of bracelets.

Vintage bracelet prices are getting ridculously high, and I am less than impressed with the modern 1171 that has a laser etched logo. I think that these bracelets will sell well I will buy a flat link one for sure.

1035/6 for me and my FOIS, but how will I justify settling for a non-Omega bracelet?

Unless you have an extra 1035 laying around, many can't justify putting a $2000 bracelet on a $4000 watch.

I doubt I can justify it either, but that doesn't mean that the only other choice is a reproduction. There's a third choice: No bracelet at all. The 'if-I-can't-have-what-I-want-then-I-don't-want-anything' choice. I don't know, and some of the threads about bracelets causing case damage concern me.

@unclepenn1 we are good people here. Not really purists at all. In fact while Seiko does not have a dedicated section here, many of us have been fighting for one, and the love for them runs strong here. This is the least brand centric, brand centric forum I鈥檝e ever seen.

OK, I have decided on the two bracelets I want to make in the near future.

1. The Mexican Holzer Bracelet. The moment I saw it I knew I wanted to make it. Thanks to the guys who brought it to my attention. I want this on my Speedmaster!

2. The 1035 Flat Link. Another dreamy bracelet that has that amazing vintage-y goodness.

My plan is to make them for the FOIS 19mm and Modern Speedy 20mm.

I will need help acquiring both of these. Would anyone be willing to post a WTB for me on the WATCH PARTS AND ACCESSORIES forum? I am unable to do so, probably because of a low post count. You can include my email address in the listing ([email protected]). Maybe respond below if you can do that, so there aren't multiple posts?

Man, this is exciting. I can't wait to get started! 馃榾

Awesome! I look forward to those. Just ordered a BOR Bracelet from you for my Speedmaster a week ago for my birthday. Looking forward to receiving it soon and hopefully for future bracelets to come. I love the speedy but I must say the modern bracelet is not the optimal look for it in my opinion!
