Hi,

I ordered 2 Flat-Link polished finish - one in 19mm and one in 20mm - around July 15th to Germany … still waiting.

Last Info from USPS:
. "Your item departed a transfer airport in FRANKFURT,
. GERMANY on July 20, 2020 at 9:36am. The item is
. currently in transit to the destination. _ _ / "

Can't wait to get it sooooooon ...

BR
Hans

Got them on Saturday,

looking forward to test them the next days 😎

Day 22. Still not here yet! It's held up in UK somewhere either in Customs or with USPS's UK partner (assuming Royal Mail)
Mine shipped on 11JUL20 & left Heathrow on 20JUL20. I live in Kent & it's being delivered tomorrow - grr...
And I got stiffed for £23 by Customs - overall cost £107. Mind you, I guess that's not too bad for a SS bracelet.

Yes most likely. Look forward to a charge of £30 total on a circa £100 order after their admin fee is included, but you likely already knew that!
I was charged £22.19 inclusive of £8 Royal Mail fee.

I was expecting a £12 fee so that is some good news at least, maybe that is the Parcelforce fee I was thinking of. YMMV, my order might be more expensive than some though as I added the other end links too, hence me using £100 as a basis.

Getting an Uncle Seiko bracelet shipped to your home can lead to interesting situations... my flat link did just arrive in the EU after well over a month and a detour via Canada. This bracelet is certainly more well-traveled than I am this year. 😀

More importantly; the product itself is great. I absolutely love it and enjoy wearing a flat link without a risk of damaging my 1039. Thanks to @Uncle Seiko for this one!

My order was moving quickly but since departing transfer airport, LA on the 4th of August nothing. Could be anywhere in the world judging by others tracking experiences.

Mine arrived this week being parked at Heathrow for a rather extended period of time. It's still there according to tracking but is now with me.

I had purchased a 1035 clasp to attach to the all brushed bracelet I ordered.

The swap required some slight modding. First had to remove the pin that held the Uncle Seiko in which was an easy task, unfortunately the connector on the Uncle Seiko was 10 mm and the opening on the Omega 1035 was 9 mm so I sanded down both sides of the connector on the Uncle Seiko . Took a while but got it in and then the pin on the Uncle Seiko was slightly too thick so had to adjust the 1035 clasp to accommodate and after that it looked great and worked perfectly. The install onto the head was easy and the endlinks were a good fit with no issues.

It's a great value option for the flat link and feels amazing on the wrist.

This is exactly what I have planned for my US1171 bracelet and a legit clasp from an Omega 1171. Just waiting on the clasp to arrive.

Where are you guys getting your 1171 or 1035 clasps from? Are you buying the entire clasp or just the "cover"?

New to the thread but if Uncle Seiko is looking to do more Omega-style bracelets, I’d love to see a 22mm 1170. My Seamaster needs one desperately. I’d even offer my old one on loan as the model. Hint, hint.

I like the idea of a flat link bracelet like the 1039 but thicker and more sturdy. Also on the clasp have the top of the Omega symbol extend beyond the clasp so that you can open the clasp using the top of the Omega.

Something like in the image, but actually extend beyond clasp.

I have a feeling the modelling process is a destructive one - the bracelet gets pulled apart to see how it fits together.

I was just curious and tried it out.
The Flatlink US 1035 on a Nivada Grenchen Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver Reference 85001 / 3011.
(I took the bracelet as it came for my Moonwatch without any filing or bending of the end links. For sure the fitting can be made even better, but it is already a nice combo.)

Received my 20 mm brushed/polished flat link bracelet yesterday, thanks @Uncle Seiko . It spent a month on the road from California to Norway. Sadly my 145.022-69 Speedmaster is at Simon Freese's for a service, so I won't be able to mount the bracelet for a while, but looking forward to when I do and will post pictures then.

Just paid the tax and fees on mine (an annoying but expected extra cost). Expected delivery Friday. Ordered 30/07 so not too bad in the current climate

Can you show the portion that required sanding of US1035 and modding of the 1035 clasp? I am considering doing same vs swapping just the cover.

....

I also agree about the UncleSeiko logo, and wasn't planning on putting it on the outside, but I did plan to do it on the inside in the same style as the Omega bracelets (with US1039 as the reference number!). 😀 My only concern is leaving the outside blank. Would that be preferable? I definitely would not use the Omega logo but I wonder if I should have something else?

... [/QUOTE]

@Uncle Seiko

Personally, I would have preferred had it been either 1) left blank or 2) a totally different logo than the one being used.
The only thing that kept me from getting this bracelet is the logo for obvious reasons.
Sorry to be blunt but If I were the producer of these bracelets, I would be annoyed (if not hurt) seeing people buying my bracelets and then seeing them exchanging the clasp.
My suggestion to Uncle Seiko is, come up with an original logo. One that people won't need or want to change. A logo to be proud of wearing.
@Uncle Seiko, please take this as honest constructive criticism.
