Usual trawling through listings and I come across this:

Now usually the ones I see with dog legs aren't arrow head markings, is this a redial? And what is up with the yellow tint, is that aging patina?

More pics:

Seems to be a 167.005 case.

I've been waiting for a dog leg arrowhead dial, but I wasn't sure if it was possible - is this the real deal?

The pics aren’t good enough to tell if the dial is the real deal.
167.005 should be too late for an arrowhead.
But perhaps in your excitement at finding an arrowhead dogleg , you’ve missed the obvious tell-tale.
The 167.005 is a no date Connie.
I think that answers your question.

Franken.

167.005 is a no date case. That has a date so it should be a 168.005 reference number.

I think you're only chance to get a Pie Pan dial with Arrowhead markers and a date window and dog leg lugs would be inside a 14.902 case - IF (and that's a BIG "if") that combination exists. That combination might have a caliber 50x (501 or 504) or a caliber 561.

There’s something wrong with the case back, it should be flat on the outside not dished.

Yep, for styling like this, it should be the 14900 or constellation series with 14xxx reference, for the bowl style it's the 16x.xxx

Thanks guys! Yeah, totally went over my head that 167.005 is a no date.

Hmm, it seems there was an example here a while ago for a 167.005 with an arrowhead:

Guessing this is the real deal, not too sure again!

Real deal and absolute stunner.
So you can get a 167.005 arrowhead but it must be the earliest release.

I think it does exist, I happened upon it once in the blog.

Ah found it:

there's something very wrong with that watch
I'll rephrase that - there are a lot of things very wrong with that watch

Thought so! Redial? Bent and off-center applied Omega sign for a start.

Dodgy dial
No case reference
Observatory without brickwork
Odd crown
Photos not good enough to be certain but possibly a complete fake.

Nope, depends on the case maker. The style of casebacks on the 14.XXX can also be found on later models.

...Really? From those photos you could tell if the fonts were good? And MOY is always relevant?

Oof, there was so many wrong things on that dial - the star alone is messed up. How did someone end up paying $2,850 for that? That must be one of the highest priced bamboozles I've ever seen. Caseback says 18k, did they think it was white gold?
