·Hello everyone
This is my 1st post on this forum and I thank you for your welcome.
I'm not an English speaker so please excuse me.
I own and trying to sell my 1989 Omega 20th anniversary, but it get more complicated : there are 3 versions, one for the German market which is limited to 250ex, a USA version at 2000ex and for the rest of the world 4000ex.
To differentiate them, there are 3 types of engraving: "XXX/250" for the German version, "XXXX/2000" for the USA version and "Apollo XI 1989" for the rest.
Here is some information I found on the internet:
________________________________________________________________________
Case engaved on side with 3 variants :
- 001/250 Apollo XI 1969-1989 for germany , delivered as " head only " (ST 145.0022.102 - PIC 3890 BA, then 3890.58 since 1990), fitted in Germany with steel bracelet.
- 0001/2000 Apollo XI 1969 For the USA on leather strap (ST 145.0022.101 - PIC 3890 BN, then 3890.59 since 1990) or on steel bracelet (ST 345.0022.101 - PIC 3590 BN, then 3590.59 since 1990)
- Apollo XI 1969 for the rest of the world about 4.000 pces produced on leather strap (ST 145.0022.100 - PIC 3890 B, then 3890.50 since 1990) or on steel bracelet (ST 345.0022.100 - PIC 3590 B, then 3590.50 since 1990)".
__________________________________________________________________________
Mine is fullset and, from to the documents, it's the "ST145.022 102" version. The number "102" indicates a German version, according to the description and my hangtag mentions also "PIC 3890.50 BA" as the German version.
The serial number movement (cal.861) match the guarantee card.
But the problem is that mine doesn't have the famous "XXX/250" engraving but simply "Apollo XI 1989",
I've also come across some interesting threads like here for example:
https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-speedmaster-apollo-xi-20th-anniversary-1989.147681/
https://www.watchuseek.com/threads/mystery-speedmaster-on-the-sc.157800/
If anyone can help me as I'm a bit lost, thank you.
