What makes you think that it might be repainted? Please explain.
Second and hour marks are not so fine thin one which we usually see one other similar watches..It could have been done long ago, bit I am guessing it repainted
Yes late 40's but dress watch doesn't have such thick lines. If you compare with other dials you can see the differences..However luminous dials have such thick lines which is quite obvious..
