Hello,

I've had my sapphire sandwich ref 311.30.42.30.01.006 for a few years now and have been thinking about changing out the bracelet for a bit with something more sedated.

I really like the nylon strap / deployant that comes on the newer 310.32.42.50.01.001, but when I suggested ordering these from my AD they were concerned about fitment. Their technicians comment was as follows:

"My sales manager lent me his eyes / expertise on this and eluded to me that you have the older moon watch model. The lugs that these (selected accessories) are built for are the newer moon watch which is slightly different. We would not be able to guarantee a perfect fit. The sizes are compatible but there is a slight risk there will be a gap where the lugs meet the springbar."

I'm certianly far from an expert, but are the lugs really all that different between the current and previous-generation standard Moonwatch? I can understand maybe something like the bracelets between generations not being fully compatible, but a standard 20mm to 16mm tapered nylon strap? How would this cause an issue?

Any help on this topic is appreciated.

If it helps, these are the part numbers I'm considering:
Nylon Strap: 032CWZ014117
Deployant: 025STZ007387

Don't know whether its true or not what you're told by the AD, you could also go custom made (and have a more bespoke look with different stitching and lining) which, with 99% certainty, is a cheaper option and same quality imho:

He’s right, with regard to bracelets. The endlinks for the 311 and 310 are not interchangeable.

However, if you’re referring to the straight-end nylon strap, then there shouldn’t be an issue (hopefully someone who’s actually fit one will chime in). If it’s a curved, fitted end, then it likely won’t fit properly.

ETA: Just saw you posted the number. Standard straight end should be a-okay.

I have a 3570.50 (cal. 1861) and I wear it mostly on the new nylon strap you're referring to. It fits as it should.

Fantastic, thank you all for the confirmation!

I figured this would be the case, but wanted to double-check first.

Cheers!
