Hello, I’m not sure I’m in the right place, but I’m hoping someone can help. I inherited this Omega Automatic Seamaster watch from my grandfather many years ago and am trying to identify it. I’ve found very little information when searching google images. Thank you in advance for your help.

Late 50’s model? Movement? Gold cap. Thin layer of gold. Bonded to steel case

Reference number on inside of back. Find a watch maker. Have him open it. Take pictures of movement and caliber number. Also image of inside back.

With the reference number. You can Google that

Will do! Thank you so much! I do believe it’s from the 50s or 60s. I was amazed when I pulled it out of the drawer and it was still keeping time. I had assumed it was battery operated.
