Hello - I am trying to identify this omega watch I inherited from my grandfather. I tried omega, but they told me their records don’t go back that far. They offered to send it to Switzerland for 8-12 months and refurb it but I’d like to know what it is before. It needs a crown but I believe it works - thank you

Love this it’s what they call Tank style / Art Deco probably mid 1940s ish. case is solid 14k gold hallmarks inside and on the bottom right lug in one of your photos, the stem threads looks ok to take a new / suitable crown a very easy repair if needed a new stem anyway, don’t do anything else maybe a different strap but all down to personal preference/ keeping original as your grandfather had it . I would look at getting it cleaned up and the crystal polished but often with these old watch’s the dirt and grime between the case and crystal is what holds them in. Lovely watch tho here’s mine similar style and also 14ct
