    Hi,

I’ve held on to this watch for many years because I didn’t know how to go about selling it. Can anyone help with the name and value of this piece?

    Thank you in advance

Likely a 28.9 movement, so googling for “omega 28.9” will show you a lot of similar watches.

    Or 33.3 ?

Edit: Sorry, sub-dials are too big in relation to the dial, so probably a 28.9 T1

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, there was a watch company called Lemania, which produced a lot of chronographs for other watch companies. Two of those companies were Omega and Tissot. Beginning in 1930, some watches were dual-branded by both companies. Like this example.

Collectors love these watches. They are unusual in that both dials and movements have the signatures of both Omega and Tissot.

The dial on the original watch looks a little strange to me, as these were generally signed “Omega Watch Co.”, not just “Omega”.

Also, we would need to see if the movement was dual signed, as it should be.

    Hope this helps,

Some of the early 28.9 T1 were just signed Omega Tissot.
    Here's another:

    Hi guys,

I pointed this person here from FB. I did not want her to get taken advantage of over there.
As for the value and what exactly it is, this is something just outside of my wheelhouse.

I think the dial is stunning and original (and a singer), but it seems a bit modern for the time period unless I am wrong about when these where made. A new crystal (or restored) and this is a very very stunning piece with decent resale... I just don't know the value.

What is the view of an approx price range on this? Also, is the crown right? Is this a monopusher?

Thank you for the primer. I love being in the early stage of a hobby where I can learn something new every day.

From what I have seen, the experts like to help people who have demonstrably tried to do some research themselves. As people often say, OF isn't a drive-by valuation service. So if you started things off by describing sales of similar watches that you have identified, I think that could stimulate more participation. You can also signal your seriousness by providing better photos, including of the inside.
