It is 14k rolled gold seventeen jewels. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all and I am so happy to finally own my first omega. I hope it won't be my last.

The font used in the dial is modern so that may explain a thing

It's probably a locally cased Omega with a re-painted dial.
Where are you located and what is the history of the watch?

OXG marking on movement indicates this is an American market watch. Serial number dates to ca 1942/3.
