I'm having a brain fart. Movement looks familiar but I can't place it. Hoping someone here can help.
Marked: Elgin 924
Swiss Auto 23 Jewel
Marking under the balance: Bupkus
Google: Zip
Bestfit: Nada
Ranfft: Nuttin'
Don't know where else to look. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thats interesting... I was trying to do some googling too and found that Elgin is in Illinois (USA). So did they source a Swiss movement for their watches?

A little after WWII they began sourcing Swiss movements vs their in house variety.

Ah, cool! Good to know. I was looking at their in-house movements and couldnt find anything in that spec. And then notices the "Swiss"
