·Hi all, new member here who recently jumped into the world of vintage omega after being a long time vintage Seiko collector. I recently made a spur of the moment purchase on this omega bumper 342 movement with a caseback ref # F6249, of coarse I should have done more research before I pulled the trigger, but now after I bought it I started looking around and cannot seem to find any watch that looks similar. I have a bad feeling It's a redial, but I would like to know what the original dial would have looked like. I am also having trouble finding another watch with the 342 movement that also matches the ref on the case back. Could this not only be a redial but also a Frankenstein watch made from multiple parts of different watches? Could it be fake? here are the specs:
Movement # 342
Movement serial # 1332XXX
Caseback has W14kGoldFilled above a Triangle Omega logo
Caseback has a reference number F6249
Caseback has a second number below that of W256752
Again, I should have done more research before purchasing, so I really appreciate any insight, thoughts, or opinions you could share with me about this watch .
Thank you,
