Hi all,

this is up for sale at the moment and wanted to know if it looks the real deal. It’s not an area I’m familiar with. This era.

I know the caseback shot is crap (sellers photos) but wanted to get an idea based on the rest of the photos if it’s work me even having a crack at it.

I'm a bit unhappy with the subdial spacing.....probably an old redial. Better upclose and hiRez pix could change my mind.

Movement looks good

I like it

Movement looks mint. Dial. Hard to say,, but luminous on numbers look clean. Sharp edges and no sloppiness

Case has corrosion at the 6:00 side as you can see and missing pieces of metal there. Could be moisture on the woven strap which ate into the case over time.

If that doesn't bother you.

Funny how the inside back is really out of focus. Ask for the reference numbers on the inside of the back and do a Google search and see what pops up in regards to dial design

Thanks guys I’ll take it all into consideration. I’ll get the ref from him in a clearer photo but it’s going cheap as it needs a service. It runs and stops. If I get it I’ll service it and get her going.

At first I thought it might be a redial… but radium and the other details of the dial tell me differently. So I’m calling parallax on the subdial.

Caliber is I think 30t2PC, which is good news. It is from 1940s probably. Radium both on the hands and dial can be accepted as showing the dial is original.

Please elaborate
It was on auction and it went over what I had to spare. Someone came along and outbid me. It was a long shot but oh well.
