My vote goes to the green SMP 300. Depending on the light it looks Green or Black. So, essentially you will have two watches in one.
I'm not a fan of the modern Railmaster.
The summer blue is nice and looks great. I like the color blue. However, blue on blue on blue on blue on blue is just too much blue. For me that is.

Green Seamaster all day long and extra on the weekends. Certain lights it looks almost black & not bling. Bracelet for the office makes it semi smarter. Green rubber for the weekend, or even black rubber to mix it up. Railmaster a bit to causal IMHO. The summer blue was nice although I cannot stand lumed bezels and the green it favourite of the current Seamasters.

That much so I’m debating between one on rubber or the Sapphire Speedy 3861 again.

I don't believe the summer blue SMP has a lumed bezel. Light blue markers; yes. The heritage did away with the lumed bezel for this model as well.

The bond 60th does have a lumed bezel, though

The SA was telling me otherwise, but I’ll stand corrected as I didn’t check out the lume.

Another vote for the Green SMP on rubber.

Sporty and classy at the same time.

Has to be bracelet for me. I will try to get the rubber strap thrown in for free if I can.

They might, but be prepared to pay for the deployant clasp (same price as the rubber strap). I had the option to either get a free rubber strap or a voucher for a future watch service. As the service voucher was more valuable, I went with that. But had to pay the £500-600 for the strap/clasp.

I don't know if they're better than Omega's own but I'm under the impression that they're the best of the aftermarket.
There's a great choice of colours and I have one on a Seamaster that was never offered with rubber and I'm very happy with it.

I would go for the watch that is my daily wear, whether it be at work (jeans and polo shirt), at a night out (Dinner Jacket & bow tie) or when I'm going for a swim. It's definitely hard-wearing, mine doesn't show the inevitable knocks it takes at work at all due to the brushed case and bracelet. It's also "under the radar" so is less likely to get stolen when I'm out wearing it. Plus it's uncommon enough to get passed around and admired at a recent Omega watch event 😀

It's the Railmaster, although mine is black rather than denim.

That is a smashingly good looking watch and was(is) on my list. It was my wife's choice when I showed her a few pics.

Was that picture taken at work?

Yes, that's at work. The lever frame I'm operating is almost 100 years old and still works perfectly 😀

I would reconsider the Aqua Terra if I were you. They always look much shinier in a boutique in bright lights than in real life. The green SMP doesn't really seem good for an every day watch. I found the Railmaster very underwhelming compared to the Aqua Terra. The blue is nice but also no sure as an everyday watch.

So... I vote for an Aqua Terra in black, blue or white. 😀

I wasn't 100% certain so I did some digging and found a lume shot:

It's possible your SA made an assumption based upon some of the other watches Omega has released lately and the fact that the bezel numbers ARE the same color as the lume?

You’re only the second person I know of with an occupation appropriate watch.
The first was a retired submarine captain with a Rolex.

I did love the green and blue AT when browsing online. I love the teak decking dials. In the store, the white with orange hands stood out to me more for some reason. I think the dial seemed less shiny than the green and blue, and also seemed bigger.

I do think it would be good with a suit, but because of the seemingly very bright polished centre links I don't think it would do so well with a day mucking around with my kids...

Boutique lighting probably does make it seem worse than it would be in 'real life' though....Ah! Perhaps it would make a good second watch for more formal wear.
