·Hi. After having read a bit about Seamasters and the difficulties with their legitimacy in this forum, I registered to ask about a specific watch myself.
This one here has a case number "14701 2 SC" and a 562 movement no. 17,450,970.
When I googled pictures of 14701's, only a few came up which had a dial like this one. Most had dials with no numbers. So is this just a variety, or probably a dial from a completely different watch ? - and if the dial is real, might it be a redial as it looks quite bright and shiny for its age. Not much of a patina... Thanks in advance !
