The reference number will be inside the case back. You can use to to search eBay and this forum for current and previous sales.

I’d say around 400-500 of you chosen £/$/€

I think he’s saying ‘how much is this 2848 which I’m not going to show you worth? Can I sell it here?

You don’t actually see many 2848s, I think small second models had fallen out of fashion by the late 50s, but the 2846 case is double marked so my guess is he has one of those.
