I was lucky to get one of Kizzi's latest batch of Space Shuttle crew strap replicas. The attention to detail is amazing. Everything from the color, to the dimensions, the selected materials, etc. is as close to the original NASA design specs as is possible today.

I've only ever worn my Speedy on leather, this gives it a completely new tool watch appearance. If you like Speedies for their space heritage and get the chance to order one of these, I would highly recommend them.

Nice pick up. Kizzi's straps are becoming harder to come by nowadays.

Having handled a few on these straps I can tell you Kizzi's straps are almost a perfect 1:1 recreation down to the stitch of the NASA provided Velcro straps.

They hold up very well. This one has almost 9 million miles on the wrist.

How is it? Weren't the original straps long enough as to be used over the EVA suit? I think to remember a photo of a crew member inside Shuttle and the strap was long enough for a second full turn around the wrist.

I tried using mine, but wasn't crazy about the exposed Velcro on the outside of the wrist. Now it just lives in my drawer of unwanted straps. :(
