This is a shot of the fabulous Movado cal. 95M movement, which breaks with some traditions of chronograph watchmaking. For example, start/stop and reset buttons are reversed.

Here is the back of a F. P. Journe Chronomètre Souverain showing the cal. 1304 movement made in Gold:
The ingenious construction of the movement does not only offer a visually pleasant view, …
… it also demonstrates the master's sense of humor: although you can look deep into the movement, apparently just to the base plate, you cannot detect a mechanical connection between the power source (two barrels) and the escapement.
