This is a shot of the fabulous Movado cal. 95M movement, which breaks with some traditions of chronograph watchmaking. For example, start/stop and reset buttons are reversed. Enjoy, Mick
Here is the back of a F. P. Journe Chronomètre Souverain showing the cal. 1304 movement made in Gold: The ingenious construction of the movement does not only offer a visually pleasant view, … … it also demonstrates the master's sense of humor: although you can look deep into the movement, apparently just to the base plate, you cannot detect a mechanical connection between the power source (two barrels) and the escapement. The face of this watch is shown in the WRUW thread. Enjoy, Mick
Mick Tock- gorgeous, excellent shots of one of my favorite movements! Truly love Journe. Was gonna keep it vintage but here are some movement shots I took last year of the CB.
