A year ago, OP asks for advice on a beautiful rare watch. A non-original caseback is discovered and majority of feedback recommends to send the piece back as it isn't correct.
Several months later, OP returns to show off a neat custom modern made display caseback, and several members chime in with strong desire for getting a similar for their vintage pieces.
The diversity of opinion, the passion each has, and the ability for old threads to become new again, and the sense of community when people get together to share in the multiple facets of this sometimes quirky hobby...
"Something old, something new,
