Nice to see a 1827 on an original bracelet. I have had to make do with an aftermarket one but it serves its purpose. I wear my one regularly and really enjoy it. Great watches.

It's r1819 if you mean blue dial with IWC GF bracelet 馃榾

I stand corrected. I didn't see the Yacht Club text. Mine is a tad smaller. Same great movement though 馃憦

Yeah it might be confusing that I have 2 exactly the same yacht clubs, with different bracelets 馃榾 I just had an opportunity to buy one of those recently and I cannot resist not to do so, if we talk about those amazing watches

I love it, for me its bigger than what case size really is, this is one of my favourite case designs, very well done with those ears. My wrist size is ~18cm. And the dial is amazing as well, here's a photo in a weak light, mine is full original and has some very light signs of aging, those high polished indexes, very simple, no date, those hands, for me its complete watch. For this one I also have original box and papers 馃榾

Yes, I love the way the case is designed. Finding one that has an unpolished case, a cal 89 and a dial that is not silver is quite difficult. I have so many silver dialed watches! I might just have to get another!

Great watches! I鈥檝e had many over the years, but right now I only have this one, a 18kt cal 89 from 1965, ref.521. The dream is a dateless Ingenieur, ref 666.

18kt 89 is always a great idea to keep, timeless!

Some great watches in this thread. I have 3 that all get more than their fair share of time being worn, particularly the Ingenieur which is my most worn watch.

Unfortunately not, it's a generic BoR with a beaten up Gay Freres unbranded clasp (good quality), but given it gets a lot of grief when worn I am happy to leave it as is, I don't really do safe queens.

Ok, then I add two of a completely other IWC line with historical background:
IWC Ocean 2000 BUND:
  • ref 3314 Quartz with cal 2250 for scouts and
  • ref 3519 Amag with cal 3755AM for mine divers

YES! I love it and I found it really rare, those jumbo cases especially in almost perfect condition, there are not a lot of those available.

I think you鈥檇 really enjoy an IWC 89 in gold or platinum. I have a rose gold shark fin 89 which I鈥檒l never part with. It wears larger than a 36mm imo and has a clean look. The 89 movement is a tank and I haven鈥檛 had issues with it. I believe they are still undervalued.

If you want to avoid the yellow/rose gold attracting too much attention, there are also IWC 89 in platinum. They pop up once in a while for sale I think between $2500-$3500 depending on condition.

I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask this and if it is can someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction.

I have this IWC vintage buckle. I鈥檓 pretty sure its 14mm or 15mm. Stainless steel and sharp. Any idea for what IWC models this buckle pairs with? Any idea what something like this is worth?
