Hi everyone! I am very pleased to share with you all my first Omega watch which is a Seamaster 166.001 dating from circa 1964. I am absolutely in love with it. I do see there is some slight rubbing of the movement from inside the case but that doesn't concern me too much and I will be sending it off for a service in due course. But at the moment, everything looks really great and it appears to be working very well!

I would like to thank everyone who commented on my previous thread where I was seeking advice before buying, this really is a wonderful community!

I look forward to seeing and responding to your comments here.

Well done! I think it looks great, and a vintage Seamaster is a good option for a first Omega, because it鈥檚 incredibly versatile and will look good with virtually anything else you are wearing. I agree that a service is a must ASAP - but wear it in good health.

It is incredibly versatile, I'll definitely be wearing it as my normal day to day watch (although I will be hanging onto my casio for rougher activities 馃槈)
