New to me Seiko 6117-6410 Navigator Timer GMT

Hi everyone,

Wanted to share my first vintage Seiko that I just received. Very happy with it so far...great size, everything is working, feels good on the wrist. Anyone else have a 6117 Seiko? When I was looking there were quite a few variants, like the 6400 and 6409. Here are the photos!

Very nice watch. Yours is the Navigator GMT which is very popular. There is also a black dial Navigator GMT with SS bezel also popular. And then there is the World Time GMT series with world cities on inner bezel, which came in a number of dial colors mostly white and a dark brown one. Mine is shown 6117-6409. Also the Seiko catalogue . They are interesting watches looks like you found a good example.

Awesome! I really like your as well. I am assuming that your inner bezel with the cities rotates with the crown as well?

Awesome and thanks for sharing this variant! I saw this one as well when I was looking...it is definitely sharp and looks like a great example. Is your bezel bidirectional?

Yes, it is - smoothly rotates in both directions.

Brother, you have more Seikos than some dealers do. Respect. (And if I ever find a model that I can’t put my hands on, I’m contacting you to see what box you have it in and if you’re willing to part with it 😀)

I just bought another one on eBay last night. 😬

But, really, Dan S has all the actually good ones. I just have a sampling of the less expensive early sports divers 😁
