I finally got around to buying my first vintage Omega and after a lot of research decided to go with a ref 2757, since I love the date at six look.

A couple things stuck out to me though...

    1. The time is set forward by winding counter clockwise, as opposed to clockwise... Is this normal?
    2. The date switches fully at 11:45pm... Is this normal as well?

    Thanks in advance.

Here's the imgur album for pictures.

No shouldn't be the case. Maybe @Archer knows what could be possible reasons. Nice patine btw, enjoy it!

This can be remedied by getting the hands removed and put on again showing 12:00pm at the time of changeover.
