I just left my local AD with this beauty. I was in there for 1.5 hrs narrowing down my choices. I knew I wanted a Seamaster and I had a couple of option on my list. I ended up leaving with one I didn’t consider. I almost bought one that looked beautiful but didn’t suit my style. At the last second I asked about the one I ended up buying. So, take your time and pick the one you want and can see yourself wearing.

So……..it’s always been a Seamaster, and mostly PO for me. On my wrist it felt great. It looked great. It was amazing. But the Speedmaster was calling me in a whole different way. The PO was saying “I have an expensive watch on, you should notice that”. The Speedy Sapphire Sandwich was saying “notice….don’t notice….I don’t care, but I know what I have on”. It’s quiet power spoke to me, and here I am…….a lot of money less and one watch to the positive.

I have worn my Speedmaster every day since aquiring it almost three years ago and it still gives me a thrill to put it on every day. Congratulations and I am sure you will love yours too.

I think you nailed it. No one ever notices the Speedy and for me, that's how I like it. But like you said, its a "you know if you know" watch.
Congrats on the purchase, wear in good health.
So when are you picking up the PO? lol.
