I squarely blame Omega Forums.

But I’m the only one to blame for having bought it without seeing inside pics. The seller seemed trustworthy and in good faith but I’ll keep my fingers crossed until I can get it opened.
For now... I’ll just enjoy.
Best regards

Is there something specific you are concerned about, or is it just the fact that you didn't see the inside yet?

Well I'd own it!

And wear it too!

I'm like JwRosenthal and appreciate stainless steel with gold furniture.

Are you bumpin' right along Syrte? I'm only guessing but would it have a 351 movement?

Beautiful... I actually believe one could build an entire collection only on those beefy lugs Seamasters. And like said above, I also think the cream dial + golden furniture + stainless steel case is just such a nice combination...

Congratulations on your new piece! Wear it in great health!

Bactually for a long time I thought I would really like/ want a waffle dial like yours @JwRosenthal, and as I looked for one I got to like dual tone models.

@Rudi99 for sure one could have a collection of just those.
I certainly still would love to find a nice waffle dial, but fully appreciate my luck with this one.

@kyle L I’ll have to double check whether it’s rose gold in better light— I guess so....

@vintage hab it’s just that I didn’t buy it on the forum from a known seller, and as a general matter I would always want to make sure I see the inside before I pull the trigger.
However the seller seemed like an honest enthusiast, so we’ll have to see.

I understand the crown’s a replacement though?
so the watch cannot be said to be entirely “untouched”.

Beautiful watch, as usual.

I love that you strapped it straight on and posted it here. The shipment packaging is still strewn in the background. We can feel your joy through the screen!

Can’t believe you held out this long!

Well my initial reason for joining OF was to find out more about UG chronographs.
Ironically the Omega part of the forum is probably the one that was the most accidental for me...

Thank you so much, yes I certainly was excited to share “in the moment”. Thankfully I had a strap handy that has quick release pins- because the seller didn’t include any spring bars with the watch.

One of the things I have always been impressed by in your collection (those that I have seen) is the diversity. It’s easy to get hung up on a particular style and “collect the whole set”, but maintained a well curated collection takes work. It’s something that I always try to keep in focus.

And I had one similar to the one you just got that I sold to a friend, two words for you- Blue Saffiano.

That’s interesting as I don’t see my humble possessions as so diverse. I perceive it as quite focused on military pilot watches and art deco/ 1940s watches with a couple holdouts (dive watch and such).....
with this one I’m really straying though. Honored by the compliment though.

Appreciate the strap suggestion but I like the one that’s on it for now— and I have even better 😀
One more pic with bad evening lighting.
